A gift from the forest for your well-being
For more than one hundred years now the manufacturing of construction materials is the basis for the development of wood fibre panels. In fact, even today, this is one of their main uses, as they have interesting features for building due to their technical and ecological advantages.
The SONO/MAX wood fibre panel, which contains thousands of air cells, is especially adapted for acoustic and thermal insulation. Manufactured with natural wood glue without any bonding agent, it has no chemical emissions which may be a risk to health.
This is a flexible product which is compatible with hardwood, engineered wood, laminated floor covering, ceramic and marble. Additionally, SONO/MAX is adapted for wood and concrete structures and for the Hambro system.
SONO/MAX grooved panels are 1" inch thick X 10 inches in width X 48 inches in length. Profiled strips, manufactured out of MDF, meeting the formaldehyde emission standard of less than 0.3 ppm, were developed for mechanically fastening hardwood. The panel grooves are calculated so that the strips are not in contact with the structure. The splines of the strips are used to fasten the panels together.
SONO/MAX; 100% natural materials, environmental qualities, subject to permanent quality control.
